Ms. Larweck has more than fifteen years of infection prevention experience working in clinics and hospitals (over 50 clients in the Midwest). She currently is the facilitator for the Basic Infection Prevention Course offered by APIC MN. She is the recipient of the 2008 APIC Chapter Leader and Distinguished Service Award and is a recipient of a 2011 APIC “Heroes of Infection Prevention” Award.
Roland Ugarte, MD, FACS
Dr. Ugarte is the senior member of a large urology practice in the Twin Cities and is the medical director of several shared urology services. He has been an innovator bringing procedures into the office setting and has worked on quality improvement in his practice. He has contributed to research on endoscope reprocessing, a growing concern in the IP field.
Mr. Nystrom has more than 25 years experience managing a multi-state kidney stone lithotripsy service. As a provider at hospitals and surgery centers he has paid particular attention to issues of compliance with The Joint Commission, CDC and AAAHC standards for contracted services.
